Her costar Brianne Howey also came along for the chat, opting for a little black dress with a corset-style top and a voluminous velvet skirt. She, too, skipped the accessories. The era of no necklaces, indeed!

Both ladies kept it simple with stilettos, adopting identical poses like the mother and daughter they portray:

When the show first premiered, “Toni” opened up to Glamour about the first time she met her onscreen mom (who is only eight years her senior), and yes, it was love at first sight. “I read with 20 actresses who were called in to test for the role of Georgia, and Brianne was the last one,” the 25-year-old revealed. “She was it. She walked in, turned on that smile—which is part of Georgia’s charm, but it’s also who Brianne is. She’s so gorgeous and talented and beautiful inside and out. I forgot it was an audition. It’s been like that ever since.”

Howey felt the same way, telling Glamour, “I remember seeing this beautiful, petite, young woman with gorgeous eyebrows. She gave me a hug, and I felt like I was at home.”

The mystery-dramedy just dropped its second season on Netflix and immediately landed in the number one spot, so it looks like these two will have plenty more time together as the show keeps going. Which means more sleek Antonia Gentry looks for us!
