There was much talk beforehand about whether Kim Kardashian was even going to be invited to the 2023 Met Gala but considering that she is one of the most influential people on the planet, it was never in doubt for me.
If you thought that Kim arrived in her SKIMS shapewear, Chanel pearls and a robe from Kris Jenner’s closet you would be wrong, but that was my first thought.
The reality star wore a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture look which was inspired by the Fall 2022 collection. It looks like a Kim version of look 19, which we’ve seen on Tessa Thompson.
Kim’s Met Gala looks always cause controversy, whether she’s looking like a floral bed sheet, covered from head-to-toe, or wearing a dress that many people think she shouldn’t have.
So you may feel that this look is rather tame in comparison.
