Ester Expósito attended the ‘Perdidos En La Noche (Lost In the Night)’ photocall held during Cannes Film Festival this morning in France.
The Spanish actress is very much a glamour girl, so a look from the Acne Studios Fall 2023 collection wouldn’t have been an obvious choice for her.
Ester’s Acne Studios deconstructed look which features distressed detailing creating a worn-in look, would be perfect for someone like Milena Smit (if it was in black) and Hunter Schafer who are not afraid to experiment with avant-garde silhouettes, mixed patterns, or complex layering.
Unfortunately, Ester didn’t sell this look to me because of the top half, which appears too small and too long at the same time.
The sleeve length is ultimately the main sticking point, along with the Bulgari necklace which gets lost in the high neckline.
