Merve Dizdar attended the premiere of ‘Kuru Otlar Ustune (About Dry Grasses)’ during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this afternoon.
The Turkish actress wore a custom Louis Vuitton champagne silk mousseline gown for the occasion.
While I like the embellished scalloped details which reminds me of Danielle Deadwyler’s SAG Awards gown, I do wish that the velvet panel had been in a gold or the champagne hue instead of black.
The contrast does give the look the signature LV edge, while keeping the look interesting, but I would’ve loved a softer approach throughout for this gown.
Who knows? Perhaps this was a design feature requested by the actress.
