Here is a rundown of the gents who joined their co-stars on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premieres of ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ ‘May December,’ and ‘Only River Flows.’
As always, I have to start with Lucien Laviscount who surprisingly followed the black-tie dress code for the ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ premiere.
Of course it wasn’t your typical suit, as this Dolce & Gabbana Martini suit was decked out with crystal rhinestones and pearls which married formality with flair.
You have to admire his commitment, if nothing else.
A Force 10 Winning Spirit bracelet from the Monsieur Fred Inner Light High Jewelry collection and black loafers completed his look.
Styled by Kayleigh Swan.
You only have to take one look at Cory Michael Smith’s black peak lapel oblique tuxedo to recognise this as a Dior by Kim Jones classic.
As you can see from this photo, Julianne Moore’s sleeves weren’t too long. This look is steadily growing on me I have to say.
Attending the ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ premiere, you can always rely on Leonardo DiCaprio to serve up a classic tux regardless of the label.
On this occasion he was fitted by Alexander McQueen.
Name a better duo in Hollywood than Paul Dano and Dolce & Gabbana.
The jury member attended the ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ premiere decked out in the Italian label’s Sicilia white dinner jacket.
Usually, I’m not the biggest fan of a white dinner jacket, but the lace fabrication sold it to me.
Styled by Ashley Weston.
Robbie Williams was joined on the red carpet by Australian filmmaker Michael Gracey for the ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ premiere.
Both wore Giorgio Armani tuxedos, but as you would expect, Robbie’s has a lot more flair as his navy velvet blazer was accented with crystal embellishments.
Even though I’m talking about the unpredictable Robbie Williams, the shoes were an unpredictable choice.
Styled by Warren Alfie Baker.
Charles Melton joined his co-star Natalie Portman for the ‘May December’ premiere.
We see a lot of slim-fit suits on the red carpet, but with Charles’ build he needs a look that will complement his frame which I believe this Armani tuxedo manages to do.
Zhu Yilong attended the ‘Only Rivers Flows’ premiere wearing a classic Louis Vuitton custom suit with a dotted tie which appears to be inspired by the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collection.
