Director Lily Rabe and Vanessa Hudgens attended the ‘Downtown Owl’ premiere during the 2023 Tribeca Festival on Thursday (June 8) in New York City, where both ladies wore black dresses perfectly suited to their respective styles.
While Lily Rabe’s maternity style was full of joyful, exuberant dresses celebrating her impending motherhood, this black lace Zimmermann Fall 2023 long sleeve dress sees her return to a more recognisable subdued style.
This dress may not have the colourfully flair we are used to seeing from the label, yet the style does epitomise the labels fascination with traditional elegance.
Some might say that Vanessa Hudgens’ charcoal cashmere bell-sleeve dress from the Fall 2023 Michael Kors Collection was also subdued for her style, but I would say that cut-outs would render that claim false.
Michael Kors knows how to do sexy and chic.
