Following on from her Cannes Film Festival comeback, Fan Bingbing did the same during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
As always, she served up many looks which were breath-taking from day one.
The Chinese actress started off the week closing the show for Georges Hobeika wearing a pastel blue Fall 2023 Couture gown, which only highlighted how captivating she is both on and off the runway.
Styled with a pair of stunning dragonfly earrings, the actress was in her element wearing a pair of platform shoes with this classic Fan Bingbing princess gown.
This was literally a walk in the park for her.
Later the same day, the actress was front row at the Tony Ward Fall 2023 Couture show, where she wore a pearlized Tony Ward white ‘20s inspired dress paired with an embellished capelet.
The gloves and headpiece help sell the story here. Do you agree?
Or was this look too bridal for you?
On Tuesday (July 4), Fan Bingbing attended the ArdAzAei Fall 2023 show, where the sweet summery pastel hues gave way for a look that felt more dynamic, wearing a dress from the designers kaleidoscopic Spring 2023 Couture debut.
The look features a Persian rose bodice and a skirt imbued with parrot flowers which was a mesmerising mix up with asymmetrical lines, and tiers which created a visual spectacle.
For the Viktor & Rolf Fall 2023 Haute Couture show, Fan Bingbing opted to wear a look from the label’s Spring 2019 Haute Couture collection.
The exaggerated romantic tulle dresses had been done by Anya Taylor-Joy, Poppy, Hailee Steinfeld and Christina Aguilera, so I’m glad that she opted for this Barbiecore inspired astutely expressive pink gown with the Peace slogan and symbol, which was symbolic considering what was happening in Paris at that time.
Considering Fan Bingbing wore Gaurav Gupta Couture when she made her official comeback during the 2023 Berlin Film Festival, I’m sure her name was first on the designer’s invitation list.
Some might feel that this gown was a little safe for the actress, but you have to bear in mind that she was seated in the front row, and the designer’s more sculptural pieces wouldn’t have been practical.
However, I love how Fan Bingbing transforms the look with this photoshoot on the streets of Paris.
