After Prada’s show at Fondazione Prada, our Editor-in-Chief Mel Ottenberg stopped by for a closer look at all those big shoulders, ruched bags, and quintessentially Prada heels. Below, he runs down his favorite things from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 show.

It’s a major motherfucking bag, inspired by one of Mrs. Prada’s grandfather’s bags that he did in the ’30s. This ruched bag with the big, evil daddy head on it, she’s really good. This is the best bag I’ve seen.

This jumpsuit, babe. Ruches in the back, look at her.

This jacket is so great, I love it. And also, this fringed blouse. Is it a bodysuit or a blouse? I’m gonna say it’s a blouse.

Look at this nasty ass shoe. It’s beautiful, it’s perfection, it’s what generations and generations of Prada women want. This shoe is a shoe for the ages, a Prada shoe for the ages, and it’s fucking amazing. A shoe for the gods.

These grommets here, this is my favorite look. We’ve got an amazing shirt, that’s a motherfucking shoulder. We’ve got the perfect belt. She’s my favorite.

In this age of Prada pumps, this one is particularly incredible. I hope the women know how good they have it with Prada pumps in the last year, because they are insane. Look at this fucking witch pump. Come on!
