Much like the black-and-white tuxedo nails she rocked earlier this year, Cabello’s mani is courtesy of celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik, whose work has consistently highlighted ways to elevate minimalist trends. The vintage-inspired half moon, which Bachik created for Camila Cabello on her promotional tour for upcoming film Trolls Band Together, is certainly no exception. But the best part? Bachik shared exactly how to get the look.
First, Bachik prepped Cabello’s nails with the Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set and added a “simple soft pink” base in the form of Essie’s Vanity Fairest. Then “black moons were painted at the base of the nail in Essie Licorice to give a bit of attitude,” he wrote on Instagram.
