Kim Jones presented his Fendi Spring 2024 Couture collection on Thursday, which was the last day of Paris Fashion Week.
With regards to the collection he said, “I was thinking about Karl Lagerfeld’s futurism with Fendi. In the collection there is a humanism at the heart of this future; there’s the body, the silhouette within the silhouette, the person, and the handwork of the couture. The collection is about structure and decoration, where the two become indivisible. I wanted an idea of precision and emotion at once.”
There were many celebrities in the front row, but the one who stopped traffic was Zendaya.
If you have seen the collection already, you know that there were so many looks she could (and hopefully will) wear for her up-coming promo tours for ‘Dune’ and ‘The Challengers.’
In fact she already did, because much like Jennifer Lopez at Elie Saab, Zendaya gave us a preview of the collection before look one glided down the runway.
Zendaya wore a version of look 6, with the maroon hue, cold shoulders and open neckline making her look even more appealing.
Keeping the same pointy bangs she gave a debut at Schiaparelli, the look was complete with Bulgari jewels.
I love this picture, because Zendaya looks so calm and serene, yet the photographers we going crazy for her….as they should.
Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Philippe showcased how different their styles are.
Reese kept things understated with a pop of red via her Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU top handle bag, while Ava went in the complete opposite direction.
Even though they look alike, I love the clear distinction in style between mother and daughter.
French actress and friend of the house Adèle Exarchopolous showcased her Fendi flair in this cropped leather jacket.
The look would’ve been even better had it been paired it with a matching pencil skirt, but I’m probably thinking more about my style than hers.
Araya A. Hargate’s colour-blocking really stood out in the front row.
I love her practical styling.
