Before the Valentine’s Day release of ‘Bob Marley: One Love,’ Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch attended the New York screening on Monday.
As this appears to be the last premiere/screening, I would have loved it had Kingsley Ben-Adir completed the Jamaican colours with a saffron or mustard Gucci suit, after wearing black and green.
You might be thinking that it would be a tricky colour to pull, but considering Naomi Cowan wore this colour to the LA premiere, and they are of a similar complexion, I think he would have pulled it off.
But I ain’t mad at the rich burgundy colour he selected. Like all the Fall hues he has worn on this promo tour, this has a rich vibrancy to it.
Gucci Horsebit loafers of course completed the look, but no socks on this occasion, which is surprising because New York is colder than LA.
Lashana Lynch, who skipped the LA premiere, wore a dress from the London-based label SELASI.
The photographer-turned-designer Ronan Mckenzie loves to explore the relationship between clothes and the body.
Case in point, this figure-hugging brown dress which wraps around the body leaving the wearer to decide if they want to have the scarf detail trail down the back, or become a head wrap.
