Greta Gerwig served up her first look as President of the Jury for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival during the jury photocall held at Palais des Festivals this afternoon in France.
Straight out of the gate the director lets us know that she is bringing that ‘Barbie’ press tour style into this Festival, meaning, she isn’t going to go the President equals suit route.
I have to say I am thoroughly impressed by Greta’s first look from the Maison Margiela Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection.
The striped dress is exactly what we want for a photocall alongside the French Riviera, and I’m glad the beautifully delicate hourglass silhouette wasn’t modified because keeping looks close to the runway ensured that Galliano’s romantic vision was upheld.
The look was styled with a pair of Christian Louboutin for Maison Margiela white platform Tabi heels.
