Uma Thurman made a return to the red carpet for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival where she was promoting her latest film, ‘Oh, Canada.’
The actress exuded an air of sophistication wearing an ivory custom Burberry duchesse silk satin gown, but it was the nod to the label’s iconic piece: the trench coat, which caught my attention.
Mostly because wearing an exaggerated coat is exactly how she made her dramatic entrance into this festival last year, but this occasion, the styling was toned down and the mood was more graceful.
Some might disagree, believing that dragging the trench coat along a red carpet is anything but graceful, but for me, the coat was an extension of the train on her gown.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
