Has anyone ever worn a chic, sheer black dress better than Riley Keough? The look is quickly becoming a red carpet signature for the actor, and that is probably because it always looks amazing on her.
At the Gotham TV Awards in New York City on June 4, Keough walked the carpet in a Chanel couture dress from the designer’s fall/winter 2023 collection. The figure-skimming maxi is totally sheer, with white and pink floral embroidery covering just enough to keep the look PG-13. A scalloped detail at the neckline and asymmetrical hemline lend the dress a feminine touch that offsets its edginess.

Keough kept her accessories and glam minimal for this look, skipping jewelry altogether except for a single cocktail ring. She wore her long hair loose and center-parted, and added a simple cat-eye and natural lip color.
Back in April, Keough wore another sheer black frock to the premiere of her Hulu series Under the Bridge, and in February she stunned in a plunging V-neck black dress at the Daisy Jones and the Six premiere.
You could say that Riley Keough comes by her affinity for the color black naturally, as it was also a favorite hue of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, as well as her grandmother Priscilla Presley. Like grandmother, like mother, like daughter.
