Scarlett Johansson graced red carpet for the New York premiere of her new film, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, held at the AMC Lincoln Square on Monday, where the actress wore a custom Prada gingham ensemble accented with a crystal embroidered trim.
While I like the idea of the outfit, the execution fell short in terms of tailoring. Despite the intricate design and the shimmering embellishments, the fit and structure of the garment left much to be desired.
You would think with all the darting and tailoring issues that Prada have presented on the red carpet over the years, that they would have cracked the code by now, but the issue is consistent and persistent.
Scarlett looked as beautiful as ever, so it is a huge shame that her comeback was let down by the ill-fitting aspects.

Colin Jost wore a Prada navy blue mohair suit, printed shirt and ivory leather lace up shoes while supporting his wife.
I much preferred Scarlett’s second Prada dress with its intricate design and delicate scalloped edges, showcasing a romantic aesthetic that perfectly complements Scarlett’s classic beauty.
The black guipure lace was the highlight of the ensemble, exuding elegance and sophistication with a romantic allure imbued by the black velvet bow.
