Netflix sent fans into a frenzy when they posted a jaw-dropping image of the ‘Emily in Paris’ cast on Instagram with the caption, “the EMILY IN PARIS cast is in LA and my jaw is on the floor.”
My reaction was the same—jaw on the floor, not just from excitement over seeing this stylish ensemble but also in anticipation of the start of their press tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles ahead of the official streaming date of August 15.
William Abadie, ever the epitome of charm and elegance, stole the show in a perfectly styled summer outfit. His pink shirt, white suit, and beige loafers made for a flawless example of summer menswear, proving once again that he never fails to leave an uber-chic impression.
If anyone can pull off the Saint Laurent Fall 2024 sheer set, it’s Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu. She embodies that certain je ne sais quoi needed to make this daring look work—something I struggled to see in previous attempts, like Zoe Saldana’s. But Philippine? She nailed it effortlessly.
Lucas Bravo showcased a stark contrast between his on-screen and off-screen personas, channelling a ’90s indie star vibe with his look.
Meanwhile, Ashley Park stayed true to her fashion-loving character – Mindy Chen – dressed in a dramatic Off-White ensemble that some might call OTT. But let’s be honest—what’s an Ashley Park look without a little drama? The way her Roger Vivier lime green shoes matched the lining of her cape was pure genius.
Lily Collins, the woman of the hour, also opted for Saint Laurent but steered clear of the sheer trend. This look marks a significant step up from her Season 2 premiere outfit. The autumnal colours, sleek silhouette, and elegant styling suit her perfectly, making this one of her best press looks since this series started.
Bruno Gouery in cool blue and Lucien Laviscount in slate grey were on par with William Abadie’s summery hues, while Samuel Arnold, dressed in Zegna, chose warm transitional colours that aligned more with Philippine and Lily’s palette.
I can’t wait for the premiere—it’s shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year. The cast has already set the bar high, both in fashion and excitement.
