For the first time since Cannes Film Festival, Julianne Moore was solo on the red carpet for ‘The Room Next Door London Film Festival premiere on Saturday, as Tilda Swinton had been when she attended the San Sebastian Film Festival Premiere last month.
For the occasion, Julianne wore a custom Bottega Veneta gown that skilfully merged the brand’s signature artistry with her own understated elegance.
Inspired by the cascading ruffles and resin piercing details from Look 20 from Bottega Veneta’s Fall 2024 collection, Julianne’s version was tailored with a focus on sculpting her silhouette. The gown’s clean lines and carefully placed accents offered a sophisticated update to the dramatic runway design, showcasing both the craftsmanship of the house and the actress’s refined style.
What made this look particularly interesting is her choice of colour, rather than defaulting to a safer black gown.
The soft colour palette and the intricate design details brought the kind of gala glamour expected for such an event, while also adding depth and intrigue to the look.
Julianne has always been known for her classic yet daring red carpet style, and this premiere look continues to cement her status as someone who appreciates modern glamour.
