Olivia Wilde was in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this week, attending the Red Sea International Film Festival with two distinctly different looks that each carried their own charm.
Maria Gala Screening
For the ‘Maria’ gala screening, while Angelina Jolie—star of the new film—was notably absent, Olivia kept Angelina’s minimalist press tour aesthetic alive wearing a white strapless draped gown from the Carolina Herrera Resort 2025 collection. Some might argue it leaned toward minimalism to the point of no distinction, but considering Olivia’s history of favouring all-black looks, I found this refreshing. The simplicity of the gown was elevated by her styling, with the Tiffany & Co. bone cuffs adding a modern edge that gave the look a touch of personality.
In Conversation With Olivia Wilde
The actress embraced the festival’s namesake in a striking red Sportmax Resort 2025 suit. I loved the boldness of the colour; it felt confident and commanding, with the oversized tailored trousers adding a nonchalant vibe. However, I couldn’t help but be distracted by the choice of heavy shoes, which didn’t quite complement the sharp lines of the suit.
Two looks, two different moods—Olivia Wilde’s fashion choices at the festival reflected both simplicity and boldness.
