My favourite part of any awards ceremony is covering Dolce & Gabbana—not just because they dress so many celebrities and their plus ones, but because they share sketches and stylist credits, offering a deeper dive into the vision from paper to the red carpet. Here is a look at who they dressed for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
Red Radiance
So, the notion that the Fanning girls only wear neutral shades is blown out of the water. Dakota Fanning, nominated for the Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role On Television category for Ripley, stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana red chiffon gown with a micro-draped bodice and neck scarf detail. While the design isn’t groundbreaking, the execution is impeccable. Always bet on the Fanning girls to give you a moment. This was one of my favourites of the night. I love that knowing smile. She knows she looks amazing.

Refined in Rustic red
Amy Adams, nominated for the Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Motion Picture – Musical Or Comedy category for Nightbitch surprised me – a good way – wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana off-the-shoulder neckline, mostly because it wasn’t black, and because it’s classic, refined, and leagues ahead of her press tour looks. David Yurman jewels completed this elegant return to form.

Cardinal Glamour
Isabella Rossellini, nominated for the Best Performance By an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture category for Conclave embraced films theme in a cardinal-red macramé lace Dolce & Gabbana gown with a chiffon cape.
Her chandelier earrings, infused with Rubellite tourmalines, rubies, and diamonds, were the real scene-stealers, perfectly complemented by a satin Marlene bag and satin heels.
Dashing Departure
Colin Farrell, winner in the Best Performance By A Male Actor In A Limited Series, Anthology Series, Or A Motion Picture Made For Television category for The Penguin, wore a Dolce & Gabbana Made-To-Measure double-breasted Sicilia-fit look with tuxedo details. While I’m not usually a fan of white jackets, this marked a dashing departure from his usual black suits. Bonus points for the face of the Dolce & Gabbana Sartoria campaign for the guilloche-jeweled shirt buttons.
Grey, But Make It Glam
With his song Forbidden Road nominated the Best Original Song – Motion Picture for Better Man, Robbie Williams sparkled in a custom grey Dolce & Gabbana suit enriched with embellishments. Matching his suit to his hair felt like a typically bold move, while silver satin derbies tied the look together seamlessly.

Silver Standard
Robbie’s wife, Ayda Field Williams, wore a silver strapless embellished Dolce & Gabbana gown—a design we’ve seen before, but it still shines in its timeless glamour.
Lilac Luxe
Dwayne Johnson loves a silky Dolce & Gabbana moment, and his custom lilac Sicilia-fit jacket with a matching silk shirt delivered softness and sophistication, balanced by classic black trousers. An IWC timepiece and David Yurman jewels completed his look.

Structured Sophistication
Abbott Elementary star Tyler James Williams continued his love for structured silhouettes, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia-fit one-piece ensemble with flared shoulders and a cinched waist, proving his red carpet consistency.

Peak Swagger
Jamie Foxx, nominated for the Best Performance In Stand-Up Comedy On Television category for What Had Happened Was, brought his signature flair in a Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia-fit jacket with Swarovski-embroidered peak lapels, topped with a brooch for extra pizzazz.
A Family Affair
Jamie’s daughters contrasted beautifully: Anelise rocked a double-breasted suit with a patent Sicily bag, while Corinne opted for her usual glamour in a strapless silk chiffon gown styled with a Marlene shoulder bag.

Recycled Refinement
Alton Mason looked great in a Dolce & Gabbana high-neck silk top but has offered similar variations before. Let’s hope for more variety in his Dolce & Gabbana looks in 2025.
