Rising sneaker imprint Clints has linked up with Patta to introduce its latest silhouette: the Stepper.
Hailing from Manchester, Junior Clint launched his eponymous label through a love of design and dissatisfaction with the saturated streetwear market. Whilst the label is first and foremost, a lifestyle brand—it initially started out by selling limited-run apparel—Clints is best known for its unique, retro-inspired sneaker silhouettes, where the brand’s signature rounded uppers crafted, platform EVA midsole and branded outsoles ensure that wearers are left with lasting impact in every step.
Taking inspiration from the design codes of skateboarding sneakers from the late ’90s and early noughties, the Stepper arrives in a “Brown/Teal Green/Black” as a homage to various styles of the past. Renowned for its use of premium materials, canvas has been used for the upper along with overlayed with suede panels, while Patta’s logo graces the lateral mid-panel alongside Clints’ signature on the front quarter.
Additional Clints branding can be found embossed into the sole unit, and more Patta logos appear on the leather tongue tag which conceals the interior stash pocket on the tongue. Completing the duo’s project is the translucent outsole marked with Clints’ logo and Patta scripture.
You can cop the Patta x Clints Stepper on March 18 via a raffle on Clints’ website, in-store at Patta London, and at Clints Manchester pop-up. Take a closer look at the pair below.
