Blazer, button down, skinny jeans, and ankle booties—this is the defining outfit of a millennial’s career. But Emma Watson just proved that your go-to office uniform doesn’t have to be boring.
The actor was photographed arriving at the Schiaparelli Couture show in Paris over the weekend in an updated version of the classic look. Watson swapped the “boyfriend blazer” for a cropped, avant-garde jacket with oversize lapels and a cinched waist. Her white button-down, layered over a white undershirt, was similarly oversized and tied at her navel, excess fabric peeking beneath the jacket.
Her gray-black denim was just a tad looser than the traditionally skin-tight skinny jeans, and she balanced the proportions of the outfit with chunky black booties.

To top it all off, she carried a black satchel and wore her natural waves (peep the side-part!) loose and beachy. A berry lip and minimal eye makeup rounded out the look.
