Hanukkah begins its eight-night celebration this evening, and Christmas is in one week, but before you start streaming all those classic holiday movies, we have a bunch of new stuff to get to first, starting with the third season of Emily in Paris on Netflix.

The new season (which premieres this Wednesday, December 21) puts Emily’s career front and center, with a focus on the highs and lows that come from starting a new business in marketing and PR. It’s not just Emily who is going through a career transition—Madeline, Sylvie, and several other characters (who shall remain nameless for now…because spoilers) find themselves at a turning point. Then there’s everyone’s love life, which is as messy as ever this season, thanks to some new cast additions.

Speaking of, Melia Kreiling, who plays a gorgeous Greek artist named Sofia, will play a big role in season three, so bookmark our Emily in Paris page and come back later in the week as she fills us in on everything. (And we mean everything.)

Camille Razat as Camille, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Lily Collins as Emily, Melia Kreiling as Sofia Sideris in episode 305 of Emily in Paris.

Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) strikes again with the premiere of 1923 (airing tonight on Paramount+). If you weren’t already excited for more Dutton family history, then the fact that it stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren should be enough to tune in. These two legends could do nothing but sit on a rock and I’d be riveted, so I can’t wait to see them on screen in the wild, wild west.

But before we get to this week’s holiday offerings, do yourself a favor and get thee to the theater for Wildcat, a stunning and beautiful documentary about the bond between a wildcat in the Amazon and an an Army vet suffering from PTSD. We’ve always known the relationship between animals and humans is a beautiful one, but this will truly take your breath away.
