Just when we were used to Jenna Ortega in colour, she returned back to black for the 2023 SAG Awards on Sunday (February).
The Atelier Versace archive was busy last week, with Gabrielle Union, Zendaya and now Jenna Ortega dipping into it.
Oh, the fun they must have had. That would literally be a dream for me.
The actress couldn’t have selected a more perfect look that represented her ‘Wednesday’ character than this Atelier Versace Fall 1994 black patent leather and laminate silk twill gown topped with a reptile-print finish.
I love how the skirt is composed of plissè soleil panels gathered from the right to create a signature Versace deep asymmetrical split, and how she repurposed the shoulder detail as a belt.
Styled with the Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® necklace, earrings and rings and a Tiffany Edge bracelet and ring, the only thing I would change about this look are the Jimmy Choo Max platforms.
Jimmy Choo’s thinner Minny sandals would’ve been preferred.
