Ahead of the Super Bowl LVII this week, the annual NFL Honors event was held at the Symphony Hall on Thursday (February 9) in Phoenix, Arizona with Kelly Clarkson serving as the first female host of the event.
Kelly opted to wear sportwear (with the three white stripes) and fashion (with the GG monogram) mix donning an adidas x Gucci turtleneck gown from the Fall 2022 collection.
I love the idea behind this look, but a part of me is wondering what could’ve been with the corset.
Perhaps it just didn’t work as not everything we see on the runway works in reality.
The model has a much longer torso compared to Kelly, so the corset may have worked against her, much like those Saint Laurent cascade encrusted earrings.
In my opinion, Kelly should’ve either worn her hair up, or removed the earrings.
