Gabrielle Union attended the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards held at The Beverly Hilton on Thursday (March 30) in Beverly Hills, California, with her daughter Zaya Wade.
The hooded trend isn’t going away any time soon, however, I’m not surprised to see Gabrielle Union take it to the next level wearing this Moschino Resort 2023 dress.
So far, we’ve seen draped hoods calling back to Alaïa’s iconic hooded creations (who can forget Grace Jones in the hooded bandage dress?), but on this occasion the hood is more of a swimming cap.
It’s certainly not the first time we’ve seen this on the red carpet, remember Lori Harvey’s Off-White look for the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala?
Many of you likened that look to one of the teletubbies.
You won’t be surprised to learn that I love this from swimming cap to hemline.
This is one Jeremy Scott look that perfectly marries sophistication with his signature infectious edge while the maximalism is imbued via the embellishments.
