Hailey Bieber

LBD season is upon us—and there are a million ways to spice it up. Kylie Jenner recently went grunge in a shredded minidress while Reese Witherspoon killed her first post-divorce public appearance in a more classic silhouette. Now, let me draw your attention to Hailey Bieber, who utilized the wardrobe staple to make herself appear about eight feet tall.

On April 11, the 26-year-old model was photographed in New York City wearing a form-fitting black tube dress with an oversized bedazzled buckle. She drew even more attention to her impossibly long legs with sheer stockings and pointed-toe stilettos, topping off the Y2K-inspired look with a black shoulder bag and skinny sunglasses. The Rhode founder wore her hair in a slicked-back bun and kept her makeup look minimal with her signature glowy skin, a slight contour, and a glossy lip.

As Glamour’s deputy editor Anna Moeslein recently wrote in an ode to the LBD, “The little black dress—or LBD, as we more commonly say—has endured through the decades because it’s a blank canvas that we can reinvent over and over again.” Hailey Bieber would know a thing or two about that.

On April 13, the former ballerina announced that she was launching a six-episode cooking show as a follow-up to her YouTube series, Who’s in My Bathroom? What’s in My Kitchen? was a natural spin-off to Who’s in My Bathroom? because our audience was ready for us to stop eating in the bathroom!” Bieber said in a statement, per The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve loved cooking and sharing meals with friends on my social channels for years, and I can’t wait to bring this experience to the fans of our network with OBB and HexClad.”

According to THR, Bieber’s recipes will include chicken wings, pizza toast, and, of course, a DIY version of her $17 Erewhon Strawberry Glaze smoothie. While many Selena Gomez fans are side-eyeing the project as another supposed example of the model copying their fave, I personally can’t wait to save even more recipes I’ll never actually make.
