Viola Davis was honoured at the annual Chaplin Award Gala at Lincoln Center in New York on Monday (April 24), and her A-list friends Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain were on hand to help celebrate.
I deliberately downloaded this picture of Jessica outside the venue, because the pictures inside the venue were either too dark, or blown out for cinematic purposes, and this image gives us a better look at her Zuhair Murad Fall 2022 Couture gown in natural light.
This multi-coloured beaded tulle gown has a lot going on – too much some might say – but the only thing that didn’t really work for me were the cross straps.
Not only did I find them distracting, but they unnecessary for such a heavily embellished gown.
Beauty wise Jessica looked as flawless as ever, but I have a feeling you won’t be asking for this look to be added to the BDOTW list.
