Considered one of the most stylish women on the celebrity scene, Sienna Miller’s wardrobe is chock full of sought-after fashions. When it comes to her footwear collection, the actor’s taste is nothing less than eclectic—whether it’s patent leather Gucci thigh-high boots, or a pair of suede Saint Laurent sling-backs. However, on days off Miller tends to opt for comfier shoes—most recently a trending celebrity favorite that is budget-friendly, but doesn’t compromise on style.

This week in New York City, the Anatomy Of A Scandal actor swapped her high heels for a navy and white pair of Adidas Samba sneakers, a wardrobe essential that’s beloved by contemporary It-girls. As for the rest of the outfit? Sienna Miller wore a navel-baring grey T-shirt, a grey herringbone single-breasted blazer, and a high-waisted pair of pleated trousers. The look was completed with black oval-frame sunglasses and a long pearl necklace. You can see the photo here.

Since its initial release in 1950, Adidas’s Samba—now the brand’s bestselling sneaker—has become the go-to shoe for A-list names, as well as a staple of pop culture. Ashton Kutcher’s character Michael Kelso in the nostalgic sitcom That ’70s Show was partial to the shoes. The Gallagher brothers of the Brit pop band Oasis were a fan of the style during their 1990s heyday. Trainspotting’s Mark Renton—portrayed by Ewan McGregor in Danny Boyle’s 1996 classic film—wore burgundy Samba Supers.

Today’s It-girls, including Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Jennifer Lawrence, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Kendall Jenner, are ardent devotees of Adidas Sambas. Whether you’re dressing up or keeping it casual, the relatively affordable shoe (they retail for $100) can be worn for any occasion.
