Last night (May 11), Veuve Clicquot celebrated the 250-year anniversary of the iconic Champagne House with the opening of SOLAIRE CULTURE in London with Alexa Chung on the guest lists.
Alexa Chung’s name is synonymous with French girl fashion, and there is nothing more Parsian than this Khaite Candita dress from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection.
Let’s first focus on the slinky slip silhouette that skims the body before falling to a stunning flared hem, and the scarf which adds an elegant touch.
But I’m sure you’ve already zoomed in on the sheer lace part of the dress, and yes, there are no nipple covers.
As someone who personally dislikes nipple covers, I have no problem with Alexa going “commando.”
Between the nipple irritation, the way they look and feel, plus the fact that they are rarely undetectable, I would rather not wear a dress like this than add nipple covers to it.
In Alexa’s case, she wears it well.
The exhibition is open to the public from the 12th May – 6th June 2023.
