Alexa Chung attended the ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’ Cannes Film Festival premiere on Saturday, following her recent appearance at the 2023 Met Gala.
The British It girl is known – and well regarded – for her style both on and off the red carpet, but was completely underwhelmed by this dress from the Prada Spring 2023 collection.
Prada clearly had a game plan for the Cannes red carpet this year.
Red dresses. And bags which displayed the Prada plaque, but unfortunately not one single look has worked.
In this case it’s giving fresh-out-of-the-PR-box. No-time-to-steam.
The crumpleness might be part of the charm, as Alexa loves a shabby chic look, but it didn’t land for me, especially not at Cannes.
Had Alexa done more in the hair, and jewelry department I would’ve been sold on the look, but I feel like I’m reaching.
Prada satin pumps and a Prada triangle embellished clutch completed her look.
