Cate Blanchett gave us her third Louis Vuitton look of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ on Saturday.
Honestly. I thought this was an early 2000s Armani Prive at first, but this was a sustainable custom gown from Louis Vuitton.
Louis Vuitton has a certain aesthetic which was felt in her premiere look for ‘The New Boy,’ but I’m getting a totally different look and feel from this black silk velvet and sea green silk satin gown.
I adore the elegance, and the contrast, but I had three issues with this look.
Firstly, the look only photographed well when her hands were out of sight.
Secondly, I wish she had worn her hair up, and lastly, I can’t stop picturing how perfect this look would’ve been for Dita von Teese.
Does anyone else feel like this is a Dita von Teese gown?
