Cate Blanchett Wore Louis Vuitton To 'The New Boy' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Cate Blanchett attended the premiere for her new film ‘The New Boy’ held during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival following the photocall earlier in the day.

The actress was two-for-two in terms of Louis Vuitton looks today.

This time she wore a custom white crepe column Louis Vuitton gown featuring a black velvet cape, which was all made entirely out of existing fabric, which continues the actress’ push for sustainable fashion.

While I was on the fence with the black panel on Merve Dizdar’s Louis Vuitton dress, the dynamic contrast works here.

It helps to elevate the design beyond the realms of the typical column silhouette, plus I think we have reached our all-white gown quota after 4 days.

It’s amazing how a trend can age so quickly during Cannes Film Festival.

Louis Vuitton Louisette earrings and archival Giuseppe Zanotti black satin pumps completed her look.
