On the last day of the Cannes Film Festival, Thuso Mbedu was announced as the latest celebrity to join the L’Oréal Paris family, as the spokesperson for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
It has been quite a year for the actress on the red carpet, so I’m excited to see her attend Cannes Film Festival for years to come.
For the big announcement she attended the closing ceremony wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2022 Haute Couture gown.
Considering that the actress has been wearing mostly Louis Vuitton for the entire calendar year, I was surprised to see her wearing Elie Saab.
Surprised, but far from disappointed, because no one serves up a whimsical, magical moment quite like Elie Saab, and if I was Thuso, this would be my first choice for a Cannes debut.
I adore how the rose garden patterned bodice elegantly flows to the blush pink and pearl white skirt featuring an array of appliqué flowers that falls behind her as she glided down the red carpet.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
