Celebrities at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards with Karol G

Here is a roundup from the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards, which took place in Seville, Spain on Thursday (November 16).

Karol G wore a custom Balmain metallic bustier dress inspired by the Spring 2024 collection, which featured the label’s decadent detailing.

I adore the sensual silhouette and how the label took traditional corsetry techniques and modernised them.

Giuseppe Zanotti Lilibeth Plexy sandals completed her look.

Did going to Haute Couture Fashion Week, suck the fun out of Rosalía’s style?

Honestly. I really love this mellow change of pace.

Granted this Balenciaga Spring 2024 embellished lace dress is yet another sheer gown, and it’s hardly ground-breaking, but I will take this over her 2021 Latin Grammy Awards disaster.

Paz Vega was the epitome of sophisticated glamour wearing a Pedro del Hierro sequin suit.

Roselyn Sánchez wore a custom plum Marmar Halim draped corset gown which was a stunning colour for her, but all I keep thinking is, “when did she decide to opt for that raven hair colour?” Because I’m not a fan.

I am always struggling to get on board with Shakira’s style, and this Harris Reed look is no exception.

The corset bothers me the most, along with the familiar feeling that this is dated.

Xênia França rocked a Balmain Resort 2023 dress which I could have been on board with had it not been for the front patch, and the cross-body bag.

Suddenly I’m having SJP red carpet flashbacks.

Who brings a cross-body bag to the Latin Grammys, wearing a Balmain warrior dress?

Nathy Peluso tried to make fetch happen in the Balenciaga patched bikini dress from the Spring 2023 collection, which also didn’t work for Kim Kardashian.

Honestly.  If I had Jessica Goicoechea abs, I would wear this Ze García gown too.

I was going to say that I hope Marc Bartra was a gentleman by leaning her his jacket for the night, but it looks like he’s not wearing a shirt either.

Seeing Mar Lucas in this Ze García gown, something tells me that Ze García is the Spanish equivalent of Mônot.

The no shirt theme continued with Giulia Be who wore a Fendi Fall 2023 Couture cocoon jacket and trousers embroidered with 3D beads and paillettes, which would have benefited from a pair of platforms.

I’m blown away by the colour and the silhouette of Anna Ferrer Padilla’s Isabel Sanchís midnight blue gown.

Anna Castillo kept the sheer trend alive wearing an Isabel Marant Rimma maxi dress.

I have a feeling that some might not be on board with the Maria Pombo’s Roberto Cavalli Fall 2023 look, but I love the vintage Roberto Cavalli mood Fausto Puglisi has captured in this rust velvet and ivory satin slip dress.

I wish she had opted for the runway shoes however.
