Jessica Chastain Wore Balmain To The Marrakech Film Festival 20th Anniversary Ceremony

Jessica Chastain Wore Balmain To The Marrakech Film Festival 20th Anniversary Ceremony

Following the opening ceremony, Jessica Chastain attended a ceremony to celebrate the 20th annual Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday (November 25) in Morocco.

Learning that this black gown with a pink bust is a custom Balmain design, I feel like we need to see the sketch to determine how far away this is from the original vision.

Because this can’t be what Olivier Rousteing intended.

Reading Balmain’s twitter they shared that this design was “Inspired by an original creation from Pierre Balmain’s 1946 catalogue entitled “New French Style”.

The positives are that this was well intended with the silhouette, but I wish this gown didn’t have the pink satin bust.

It’s so unflattering and at odds with the rest of the design. I don’t get it at all.

The lows are low, and this wasn’t a great weekend style-wise for Jessica.
