Nicole Kidman attended the Planet OMEGA opening held at the Chelsea Factory on Thursday (November 9) in New York City.
The Oscar-winning actress has been an OMEGA ambassador since 2005 and is now one of the brand’s longest-serving icons.
Her inspiring style has been seen throughout the years across numerous OMEGA advertising campaigns, and more recently, she has regularly appeared at the brand’s “Her Time” events, which celebrate OMEGA’s renowned history of women’s watchmaking.
Speaking at the opening event in New York, Nicole said, “OMEGA has been influential in so many aspects of life, as you can see in this gorgeous exhibition. The brand has always inspired me, and I love that their story can now be shared in this special way. It’s not until you see these watches up close that you begin to understand the beauty and craftsmanship involved.”
Nicole is often spotted at red carpet events wearing her choice of vintage OMEGA timepieces.
At this exhibition, she was able to admire some of the brand’s current styles, along with an original Ladymatic from 1955, which was touted as a revolution in ladies’ watchmaking when it was first released.
Nicole’s second look with her new stylist Jason Bolden sees her wearing a look from the Balenciaga Spring 2024 collection with the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades Co-Axial Chronometer 38mm timepiece in Sedna Gold.
I love the elongating silhouette that’s both graceful and seductive simultaneously, and how the silky fabric would have created a liquid-like form as she walked.
However, the skirt feels like it was a little bit too long, as it appears in the way of every photo.
