When I saw Katherine Waterston on the red carpet at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 3) in London, I said to myself, “hasn’t she worn something similar before?”
Then I realised that I had totally confused her with Kasia Smutniak.
Katherine did the tie, tuxedo jacket and maxi skirt look, in an ensemble from the Dior Resort 2024 collection.
What I love about this, aside from the luxe velvet fabric, is how Katherine embraced her uniqueness with the contrast-sleeve jacket.
Velvet can be regarded as quite heavy, but with the contrast, Katherine’s has more of a streamline structure.
The red lip adds a touch of glam.
