To celebrate the launch and long-awaited return of the FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty sneaker, Rihanna threw a launch party held at NeueHouse in Los Angeles on Monday (December 18), where the party space included Creeper Phatty installations, neon accents and custom Phatty interactive games.
Purple is very much the colour of the moment, but that was the only thing trending with regards to Rihanna’s outfit.
Considering this was a sneaker launch, the laidback style was expected, yet I’m missing Rihanna’s usual (or should I say previous) finesse.
The best thing about this look is her vintage ‘90s Chanel jacket, but she layered it under a lilac shearling jacket adding more clutter to an already over accessorised look.
People will love this just because it is Rihanna, but I’m kinda over these looks.
I want my icons to be iconic. This is just underwhelming.
