Greta Gerwig attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival event which saw her ‘Barbie leading man Ryan Gosling honoured with the Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence In Film on Saturday before the Critics’ Choice Awards and the Emmys.
We weren’t impressed with the director’s Molly Goddard dress, so I strongly feel that this Jil Sander Fall 2023 aluminium embroidered dress would have been a better option for the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Especially with the styling of the silver boots.

I think Jil Sander’s affinity with opulent minimalism is the perfect fit for Greta’s style.
Ryan Gosling continues his run of all black Gucci suits this awards season which was styled with a TAG Heuer timepiece.
I wonder if he will step back into his comfort-zone and serve up some colour other than his white Gucci look before the season concludes.
It’s a damn shame we never got a full length picture of that white suit.
