Kristen Stewart made her first red carpet appearance for the year at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival Opening Night Gala on Thursday night in Park City, Utah.
The actress was celebrated with the Visionary Award for her contributions in cinema at Sundance, where two of her films will be shown this week.
While this was a gala, it wasn’t a gala gown gala, plus as we know, Sundance tends to be a more casual affair when it comes to red carpet looks.
And that’s what Kristen’s Chanel Coco Neige 2023/24 velvet embroidered look was: casual, as she rocked a cropped jacket with carrot trousers and a bandeau.
I know many of you despise logos, especially this style known as logomania which was originally popularised in the ‘80s by Harlem-based designer and haberdasher Dapper Dan, likening it to the wearer being a gaudy walking advertisement.
But in this case, this graphic proclamation feels more aligned with Kristen’s style attitude, than a boucle twinset.
