Blake Lively simply loves to share a sweet or funny snapshot from her life with husband Ryan Reynolds. She usually alternates between roasting him and objectifying him. On Sunday, however, the Gossip Girl alumnus took to her Instagram story to showcase one of the Deadpool star’s rarely seen talents: skateboarding.

Frankly, I had no idea Reynolds could skate until I saw this photo of him in a pair of Converse sneakers and a beanie, clutching a skateboard. But I suppose he must because he was carrying a helmet too. Lively even tagged indie-sleaze darling Avril Lavigne—the artist behind the 2002 chart topper “Sk8er Boi”—in the image.

“@AvrilLavigne dreams really do come true,” Lively captioned the still. She also linked the song in her story and let the lyrics to its iconic chorus flash onscreen: “He was a skater boy, she said see you later boy, he wasn’t good enough for her. / She had a pretty face but her head was up in space, she needed to come back down earth.”

Only a few days prior Blake Lively had revealed the secret behind her happy marriage to Reynolds during an appearance on Further Ado, the Substack series created by her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costar Amber Tamblyn. Lively explained a “rule” the pair established early in their relationship. “When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule not to work at the same time,” she said, per Entertainment Tonight. “So that we could always prioritize our personal life.”

Crazy that I, too, prioritize their personal lives.
