Damson Idris attended the 2024 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday, where the British actor won Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series category for his role of Franklin Saint in ‘Snowfall.’
But that wasn’t the surprising announcement of the night.
We all know Damson as the boy who wears Prada, but he has now been announced as the boy who will be wearing Tommy Hilfiger going forward as the label’s menswear ambassador.
Dressed in a navy single-breasted Tommy Hilfiger tuxedo which was accented with a beautiful diamond brooch, the look has the style and panache we are used to seeing from Damson.
“Awards are a time for showing up and showing out, so I just knew I had to wear Tommy,” said Damson Idris. “The latest menswear collections are crafted with this casual tailored look that’s perfect for dressing up. The kind of style to put me in my comfort zone on this very special LA evening.”
So, forget everything I said about Damson’s formula one film being a Prada-fest, as the actor will most likely, (or should I say definitely) be wearing Tommy Hilfiger.
