Eddie Redmayne Wore Steve O Smith To The 'Cabaret' Opening Night

Our favourite freckled actor is back, as Eddie Redmayne made his return to the red carpet for opening night of ‘Cabaret’ on Broadway held at The Kit Kat Club on Sunday in New York City.

Sadly, lighting in this picture is abysmal, but our fave doesn’t let us down when it comes to his red carpet look, which saw the British actor spotlight an up-and-coming designer: Steve O Smith.

Steve O Smith is a fashion designer, who is known for beautifully transforming versions of his own expressive drawings using traditional techniques to bring his art to life in fabric form.

And here it is displayed with a high degree of sophistication by Eddie.

Steve O Smith’s Fall 2024 collection features many trompe l’oeil pieces, but Eddie selected a look which felt more like walking fashion illustration.

I love how the mandarin collared suit has frayed edges adding both texture and depth to this unique look.

I hope we see more from the designers’ debut collection.
