Araya A. Hargate returned to the red carpet for ‘Le Deuxième Acte’ (‘The Second Act’) premiere and opening ceremony of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival this evening.
The L’Oreal ambassador has given us many amazing looks over the years, where her go-to frothy tulle gowns have been her signature, but she opened her 2024 account with a black velvet vintage Balmain Fall 1988 Couture gown.
You’ll either be thinking that this feels a little too moody for the summer festival, or you will be appreciating the elegance of yet another archive piece.
Pictures are always a little slow on the first night of Cannes, but from the image that appears in the look book, you can see that the train is where the drama really happens.
