Billie Eilish‘s Knicks game look included an unusual accessory—a pair of headphones worn around her neck—which has sparked some light roasting and some conspiracy theorizing.
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter was photographed sitting court-side at a New York Knicks game on May 14, alongside her childhood best friend Zoe Donahoe. Eilish wore a plaid-on-plaid-on-plaid shorts and button-up ensemble, complete with plaid baseball cap, her signature librarian-coded glasses, and what appear to be a set of Bose noise-canceling headphones where a necklace would’ve been more likely.

On social media, some users lightly clowned the singer for the headphones, with one X-user wondering, “Who wears headphones to a basketball game?”
“The glasses. grills. headphones. omg,” posted another user. On TikTok, one person commented, “Are those giant headphone necessary?”
