Eva Green Wore Chanel Haute Couture To The 'Emilia Perez' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Eva Green attended the ‘Emilia Perez’ premiere during the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday evening.

After being a little underwhelmed by the styling of her Iris van Herpen Haute Couture dress, and selection of the twice worn Alberta Ferretti dress, I felt the French actress hit the reset button by putting on a theatricality vintage inspired display in Chanel Haute Couture.

Her black velvet fitted jacket – accented with a white faille camélia – and white silk faille skirt was a custom creation by Virginie Viard, which was inspired by look 64 from the Chanel Fall 1994 Haute Couture collection.

What I love about the silhouette and intricate details is the nod to 1945 ‘new French fashion,’ and if there is anyone who can successfully sell that era to me on the red carpet, it is Eva Green.

Chanel jewels and shoes completed her look which sees her back on track.
