When Brie Larson and Aja Naomi King stepped onto the red carpet for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations event in Los Angeles, they brought their fashion game, but in distinctly different ways, offering a striking contrast in style that highlighted their unique fashion sensibilities.
If you had told me beforehand that one of them would be wearing Versace, I would have placed my bets on Aja Naomi King, due to the sultry, seductive nature of the design.
But fashion is all about surprises, and it was Brie Larson who turned up in a Versace ensemble—a Barbie pink striped shirt paired with a tweed skirt from the Resort 2025 collection.
Brie’s look imbued daytime chic with a contemporary twist. The classic elements of the striped shirt and tweed skirt were given a fresh update with the vibrant pink hue, injecting a playful yet polished vibe. The metallic pumps added just the right amount of edge, ensuring the outfit felt modern and less ladies-who-lunch.
Aja Naomi King brought the glamour in a figure-hugging petrol blue gown from Galvan London. Known for its sleek, minimalist designs, Galvan London’s approach to fashion is all about understated elegance, and this dress was a glowing testament to that. The cold shoulder detail added a subtle alluring touch.
With Brie’s playful take on Versace and Aja’s sleek, minimalist glamour, both looks were a success.
