Florence Pugh graced the red carpet for the ‘We Live in Time’ premiere during the 2024 Toronto Film Festival on Friday.
While she looked radiant from the neck up, her gown was a different story.
Dressed in a pink Tamara Ralph Fall 2024 Couture gown, accented with a black croc leather bow and a silk flower, my immediate reaction was “‘My Super Sweet 16’ meets high school prom.”
Yet, somehow, she’s pulling it off. Maybe it’s because this kind of look has become synonymous with Florence, which some might interpret as “expectations are low.”
But to her credit, the gown does feel like a Florence move— dramatic and larger-than-life.
And let’s be real—we should be relieved it’s not another tulle creation.
Though this look may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there’s an undeniable charm in the way Florence carries herself. She has this way of owning her choices, which ultimately saves the look.
Not a home run, but not a complete miss either—just pure Florence doing Florence things.
Tiffany & Co. jewels completed her look.
