The revival of ‘Our Town’ at the Barrymore Theatre brought not only a night of powerful performances but also a display of understated style from the leading ladies and their supporters on Thursday night. Katie Holmes and Zoey Deutch, who star in the production, while Nina Dobrev played a supportive role.
Quiet Elegance
You never really know what you are going to get from Katie Holmes on the red carpet, as she can go from high glamour, to boho chic in a very short space in time. This time she opted for a minimalist and refined wearing a black Heirlome Elliott top paired with the matching Heirlome Natalia skirt. I like how the look was elevated with the addition of sparkling jewels and a chic clutch.
Feathered Simplicity
Zoey Deutch’s Chanel Spring 2023 outfit was, frankly, more reminiscent of an expensive nightgown. As a post-performance look, it does the job of being easy and relaxed, with the feathered hemline and striking earrings added a dose of glamour
Sculptural Sophistication
Of the trio, Nina Dobrev delivered the most intriguing fashion moment. Opting for a Carolina Herrera Fall 2024 black mini dress, she stood out with its sculptural shoulders and playful yet elegant design. Compared to her look from the Ballet earlier in the week, this ensemble had much more character and presence.
