Saffron Hocking stepped out at ‘The Devil’s Hour’ Season Two photocall today at London’s Soho Hotel, and with coat season in full swing, her choice of outfit couldn’t have been more fitting. Instead of a traditional red carpet look, the actress opted for an Emilia Wickstead Jaya tailored coat from the Fall 2024 collection.
Usually, a coat on the red carpet would feel underwhelming, but Saffron’s choice defied expectations. The oversized fit and precise tailoring of the coat created a directional silhouette that draped effortlessly, elevating outerwear to something red carpet-worthy. Between its refined elegance and chic fit, the coat made a strong impression—one that easily sold me on the idea of outerwear as a leading statement.
However, it seems that Saffron wanted us to appreciate more than just her coat, as she paired it with a matching short jumpsuit underneath, which we saw on the runway. Personally, I found the coat far more interesting, and it should have held its own as the star piece without revealing the layer beneath. Still, her choice to embrace such an unconventional ensemble makes her stand out, adding a unique twist to the typical photocall style.
